Fresh from the Kiln a.k.a “Firey Frida”

During the ramp up for the annual Hwy 62 Art Tours Firey Frida has been on fire. Weekly firings make for exciting discoveries. There’s nothing quite like visualizing a piece in clay and firing it into a form with integrity. Each time I lift the kiln lid it’s a touch of wonder and anticipation.
